Beyonce to get wax figure at Madame Tussauds

Los Angeles, March 09: Grammy winning R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles will be one of the first celebrities to have their wax figure unveiled at Madame Tussauds, when it opens in Hollywood, later this year.

Beyonce will join Academy winning actor Jamie Foxx in the museum that will open to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Madame Tussauds first museum in London, reported Variety magazine.

In the meantime, construction is still under way on the building, which reportedly would cost $55 million. The 40,000-square-foot building is located at Hollywood Boulevard and Orange Drive, and has been designed by Los Angeles architect Michael Rotondi.

There is no word yet if Beyonce and Jamie will be attending the showcasing event.
