Robert Pattinson eyes Bond role

Robert Pattinson has confessed he would love to spread his vampire wings and pounce on playing James Bond if given a chance.
The Twilight actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the hit series, said he "would love to" portray 007 in the future.

But the 23-year-old was less convinced about his fitness levels to pull off the popular secret agent character, Sky News reported.

Speaking at the UK premiere of his new film, Remember Me, the star joked he was "not very good at running".

Pattinson said of his new movie: "It does worry me that when a film has a lot of attention, most audiences are so used to having all their buttons pressed, and it doesn``t really press the same buttons as normal films.

"I hope people don’t go into it thinking, ``I am going to watch a really happy romantic drama,`` because it is not really."

Tokyo, Mar 04: It turned out to be a sensuously titillating affair when ‘Twilight’ cast Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart joined for a meet-and-greet promotion for their film. The erotic scene, where Robert bites Kristen was brought around as the exciting topic of discussion.

A fan asked the question of how the beauty felt being bitten by the desirable hunk during the promotion meet. Audience was all ears as the question was in everyone’s mind.

When the question was popped up, a playful decided to go naughty and asked her, "Well, how do you think it felt?"

However, much to everyone’s surprise, Kristen’s answer had Robert blushing.

Kristen’s suggestive reply was, "(It) was so much better!"

The response had Pattinson blushing and Lautner slapping his knee while the audience broke into waves of wild laughter as it was translated. Even the translators were laughing.

The questioner pressed her luck and asked, "Which was better, being bitten or kissed by Pattinson?" There were more playfully flirty looks by the couple in question on the podium, but Stewart fell short of answering.

"I don`t know," she shrugged.

The translator gave the appropriate translation in Japanese. "No comment."

Well, hot-blooded Kristen was fun while it lasted.
