London, March 22: Love-struck Jamie Hince reportedly confessed he wants to pop the solid rock on his supermodel-girlfriend Kate Moss’ finger.

The Kills guitarist was said to have hinted about their wedding plans for the first time in public after much previous speculations.

The rocker allegedly made the revelation at London’s Volstead club while his hard-party-loving girl guzzled vodka lemonades.

“I want to marry that girl. She’s all I want. She’s all I need,” News of the World quoted him as saying.

Jamie further revealed that though details were still to be penned but he already knew what would play in the background other than the wedding bells.

He said: “I loved the Queen tribute band (The Bohemians). They’re really good. They are even better than Queen. Oh yeah, they can come to the wedding.”

Meanwhile, a friend added: “It’s so obvious how loved-up they are. We can’t wait for them to get married—and the party afterwards.

“Now he’s got to pull his finger out and ask her properly. She’ll definitely say yes.”

British singer Natasha Bedingfield weds in Malibu

Malibu, March 22: British singer Natasha Bedingfield has gotten married in Malibu.

A magazine reports the pop songstress wed California businessman Matthew Robinson in a 30-minute outdoor ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Saturday.

About 150 guests watched Bedingfield walk down the aisle in a Vera Wang dress beside the chateau at the Church Estates Vineyards.

Bedingfield`s albums include "Unwritten," "NB" and "Pocketful of Sunshine."

Britney Spears planning her first Australian tour

Melbourne, March 22: Pop star Britney Spears is planning to make her first Australian tour.

The singer is talks with leading concert promoters, and tour dates are expected to be scheduled for later this year.

"All the promoters are vying for it, but the bottom line is she really wants to come here and she really wants to come here this year," a website quoted Sony Australia boss Denis Handlin, as saying.

Handlin spoke to Barry Weiss, the head of Spears`` American record label, last week about the tour.

"I think the promoters are battling it out at the moment," he said.

Frontier Touring`s Michael Gudinski confirmed he was in negotiations with Spears`` management.

Gudinski said several promoters had been chasing the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker.

"I don`t expect anything will be worked out or finalised for a month, but we’re in there," he said.

Joe Jonas lands in photo scandal mocking Asians

London, March 21: Jonas Brothers’ lead singer Joe Jonas is said to have landed himself in a photo scandal for posing in way that appears to mock Asian.

As per a website, Joe, 19, was photographed pulling his eyes with his pinky fingers, a similar pose to the one that Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus had given.

The picture was leaked online, reports the Daily Star.

Cyrus, 16, is now facing legal action from a group of Asian Pacific Islanders for the picture, which had also been leaked online.


Even though she apologized for it, civil rights activists rejected it.

A spokesperson for Jonas was not available for comment.

Madonna should persuade court, not public, says adoption official

London, March 21: Madonna should focus on persuading Malawian courts and not the public, if she wishes to adopt another child from the African country, a government official has said.

The Queen of Pop had recently confirmed that she was planning to adopt a second child from the region after making little David Banda a part of her family in 2006.

"It`s something I have been considering, but would only do if I had the support of the Malawian people and the Government,” the Daily star quoted her as previously telling the country`s Nation newspaper.

"Many people - especially our Malawian friends - say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister.

“It is a big priority for me to educate my son about the world, but always to stay connected to his Malawian culture," she added.

However, Cyrus Jeke, a spokesman for the Ministry of Child and Women Development, revealed that the singer would have to do more than that.

He said: "It`s not pre-conceived. A high court judge must be convinced about the adoption.”

London, March 21: Socialite heiress Paris Hilton wants to start a family even though she recently broke up from her boyfriend Benji Madden.

The 28-year-old Hilton is currently dating US actor Dough Reinhardt, who stars in the TV show "The Hills", thesun.co.uk reports.

Hilton had in the past given up drinking and partying in an attempt to have a baby.

Lady GaGa doesn’t regret her stripping past

London, March 15: Lady GaGa has no qualms about her former stripping days that lent her support during her teens.

The 22-year-old, born as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, revealed she left her posh family in shock after turning to stripping at 18.

“I was working in strip clubs when I was 18. Girls from my background weren’t meant to turn into someone like me. I come from a wealthy Italian family, went to a good school,” News of the World quoted her as saying.

“I went against all I was brought up to be; I moved out of home, wouldn’t take any help from my parents and supported myself with waitressing jobs and stripping,” she added.

London, March 15: Kerry Katona`s faith in husband Mark Croft was shaken after she found he has a 455,000-pound stash in one of his company`s accounts, according to reports.

The former ‘Atomic Kitten’ singer - who was declared bankrupt last year after she failed to pay the final 82,000 pounds income tax bill - is set to divorce Croft after two-years of marriage.

And Kerry - who has hired a new accountant in a bid to find out how her fortune has been blown - threw Croft out when he showed her a bank statement of an account that contained nearly half a million pounds of her money.

Washington, March 14: Hollywood actor Tom Hanks was so desperate to team up with his son Colin on the big screen that he actually forced his way into his son`s new movie.

The Oscar winner actor revealed that he was so impressed with the script for ‘The Great Buck Howard’ that he decided he wanted to play his son’s dad whether he liked it or not, reports a newspaper.

"I selfishly attached myself as the dad. I didn`t even ask Colin, I just said, ``Hey listen, I`d like to play the dad.`` He kind of rolled his eyes and said, ``Well yeah, I can see why.`` And that was that," said Hanks.

The plot of the film, which also stars Emily Blunt, revolves around a young man who accepts a job as the assistant to a jaded illusionist, played by John Malkovich.

London, March 14: Hollywood star Patrick Swayze looks thin and frail as his battle with cancer continues.

The 56-year-old has pancreatic cancer and was spotted in Los Angeles with his wife Lisa Niemi shopping for a new car, reports thesun.co.uk.

He has confessed the cancer was caused by smoking but was still spotted smoking. Swayze said he was responding well to the treatment and now wears a wig after losing hair.

A fan said: "It is really tragic to see him now. He is just skin and bones and looks terribly ill."

Jennifer Aniston almost turned down "Marley & Me"

London, March 14: Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she had considered turning down her role in the super hit film "Marley& Me".

The film, which centre`s around a naughty dog and a couple, was a hit at the box-office.

The former "Friends" star said she had received several special copies of the novel "Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World`s Worst Dog", as gifts in 2005 which she never read.

Washington, Mar 13: Pop star Lily Allen was recently photographed attacking a paparazzo.

The paparazzo following her all through London reportedly drove into the back of her car, which made Allen lose her cool, after which she got out of her car threw a water bottle at him and started kicking him.

The ‘Not Big’ hitmaker failed to notice that while she was beating the paparazzo, others were busy clicking her, reports Contactmusic.

However, it is not known whether the paparazzo in question filed charges against Allen.

New Delhi, March 10: American socialite Paris Hilton was left a little red faced after she was exposed to have been lip-syncing her hit song ``Stars Are Blind`` at her birthday party on March 7.

The incident happened at the Body English nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino when Hilton’s new boyfriend Doug Reinhardt took the microphone off her, only for the song to continue playing, reports China Daily.

“Paris was really going all-out to impress Doug until he took the mic off her and the singing just carried on. Everyone in the club thought it was hilarious,” a source said.

Past fights of Chris Brown and Rihanna revealed

New York, March 10: Barbadian singer Rihanna has revealed to cops two fights she had with R&B singer Chris Brown in the past that had preceded the recent alleged assault.

As per reports, both episodes however did not involve the exchange of physical blows only verbal.

“The first incident was in Europe about three months ago,” a news daily quoted a source as citing Rihanna`s official statements to cops.

“It was a verbal dispute. She slapped him, he responded. He shoved her. There were no witnesses and no injuries,” the source said.

During the second incident, which took place in Barbados, the only object that was damaged was a window.

“It was a fight over a Range Rover,” the source said.

“She says he broke the window. Nobody was injured and it was not reported,” the source added.

The source also said that reports of Brown beating Rihanna, 21, in the past were “absolutely inaccurate.”

Brown, 19, was charged with felony assault on March 5 and is due for arraignment April 6.

Cole, Barlow celebrate after conquering Mt Kilimanjaro

Washington, March 09: British singers Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow have finally reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, and are celebrating the success of their climb for charity.

The two were joined by Cole’s band mate Kimberley Walsh and Boyzone`s Ronan Keating in their trek, which started on February 27 in aid of British organisation Comic Relief.

They touched the 19,000-foot (5,890 metre) peak in Africa on March 7, and for Cole, 25, it was a huge success.

“It has been the most mentally and physically challenging experience of my life. Nothing could have prepared me for it,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“I’m so proud of all of us for making it to the top. And seeing life here first hand is one of my most rewarding experiences too,” she added.

The mammoth climb has so far netted the charity 1.96 million dollars.

Beyonce to get wax figure at Madame Tussauds

Los Angeles, March 09: Grammy winning R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles will be one of the first celebrities to have their wax figure unveiled at Madame Tussauds, when it opens in Hollywood, later this year.

Beyonce will join Academy winning actor Jamie Foxx in the museum that will open to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Madame Tussauds first museum in London, reported Variety magazine.

In the meantime, construction is still under way on the building, which reportedly would cost $55 million. The 40,000-square-foot building is located at Hollywood Boulevard and Orange Drive, and has been designed by Los Angeles architect Michael Rotondi.

There is no word yet if Beyonce and Jamie will be attending the showcasing event.

Fergie has ‘no baby plans’ until Black Eyed Peas tour ends

Washington, March 09: In a bid to put pregnancy rumours to rest, Fergie has said that she has no plans for having a baby until the end of the Black Eyed Peas comeback tour.

London, March 09: American socialite Paris Hilton has continued her birthday celebrations since last month by flying 20 of her friends to Las Vegas by private jet, and partying until 5.30 in the morning.

Hilton, who turned 28 on February 17, was toasted by her new boyfriend Doug Reinhardt at a party, which included a pink carpet, private gig by Chester French, giant birthday cupcake, circus acts and a drum band dressed as Sesame Street characters.

She and her pals arrived at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on March 7, and they began their evening with dinner at posh eating-place Nobu before heading to the hotel`s Body English nightclub.

London, March 08: "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston admits that she never had a perfect relation and believes such a concept does not exist.

The star who is currently dating singer John Mayer, said, "Is there such a thing as a perfect relationship? I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists."

"We are just fooling ourselves if we think it does. Whoever said that every relationship has to last for ever? That’s hoping for too much. I think every relationship is a world unto itself," the actress said in an interview to a news website.

The-40-year-old star, who believes in living in the present also admitted that, "I have never been a woman who dreams about getting married and having children and having that house in Connecticut. On the contrary, I’ve always gone with the flow.

Party leader Nick Clegg, a pal of the actress` director-husband Sam Mendes, was left guarding his pride after a snap of the Oscar winner was made to appear promoting a Lib Dem awards ceremony.

The picture, apparently showing her at the recent Lib Dem Council Awards in Harrogate, was featured in the party`s conference brochure.

It allegedly offered the belief that Winslet, who has always sealed her political affiliations, was a Lib Dem supporter.

"They did not request permission to use the image and, so far, Kate has not been made aware of its use. I am not aware of her political position," the Independent quoted her rep as saying.

However, a Lib Dem spokesman insisted: "It was a humorous piece for a fairly low-key event."

On being questioned if the ad backed the idea of depicting the star as a party supporter, he added: "That is not the idea.... We are more than happy to make it clear that it is not the case."

The ‘That Thing You Do’ actress was taught a few swear words by Mexican director Guillermo Arriaga, while they were filming the ‘The Burning Plain’ together.

Theron is now said to be desperate to learn the language, and pick up some basic phrases in the language.

I had this fantasy, ``cos I`ve always wanted to learn Spanish, that I would learn Spanish before I shot the movie with him, that he would be really impressed with me, that he could direct me in Spanish but of course it never happened,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I’m really embarrassed to say that I don’t speak Spanish, I’ve lived in California for eight years and I just think it should be a prerequisite, you should be able to speak Spanish if you live in California,” she added.
